The Daily Bulletin has taken the time to include Timberwolff Construction, Inc.'s Charity Golf Tournament in there newspaper's most current issue.
"....'Tis the season for giving.
Timberwolff Construction, Inc. of Upland, is holding a charity golf tournament and taking donations to fix up the two locations of VIC's Place, an alternative after-school program for children in Upland.
"This is the first time we've really gotten involved," said Monique Wolff, co-owner of the construction company.
Wolff said she and her husband Mike wanted to pick up a charity within the city to donate money. Their son Garrett Wolff is a "volunteen" for the Recreation Department, so they had received information about the group and decided to donate to VIC's Place.
The golf tournament will be held on Thursday at the Upland Hills Country Club. Monique Wolff said they are expecting about 100 players and cannot take any more, but donations to the program will still be accepted.
"All of the proceeds, everything we earn, will go toward VIC's Place," she said.
But no matter how much they earn from the event, Wolff said they have guaranteed the program $20,000.
In addition to the tournament and donations, there will also be a silent auction and raffles that will go toward the final gift.
"Every little bit helps," Wolff said......"
